Anne Breaud โ€” born Anne Streatch in Canada โ€” came into monster trucks the way the best stories always start: as a favor that became a calling. Originally from Canada and now based in Pennsylvania, Anne joined the Xtreme Monster Sports family in 2019 when she filled in for Maddie Breaud, who originally drove Muddy Girl, for a single show. The temporary replacement became permanent. She never left.

Married to Paul Breaud โ€” owner of Xtreme Monster Sports and driver of Backdraft โ€” Anne is now a full member of one of the most established independent monster truck families in the sport. She brings her own energy and fanbase to every event, with Muddy Girl's pink-and-camo graphics and her approachable pit presence making her one of the most recognized drivers on the circuit.

Anne's personal background, life before monster trucks, and what she loves most about the sport โ€” coming soon from the driver.

"It's maybe two hours of fun and working at 2 or 3 a.m. to fix the truck. But we can't do the shows without the people."
โ€” Anne Breaud, on what it really takes

Anne's entry into the sport was as unplanned as it was perfect. In 2019, Paul Breaud needed a fill-in driver for Muddy Girl when his daughter Maddie stepped back from driving. Anne stepped up. One show turned into a season. A season turned into a career. She has been the face of Muddy Girl ever since.

"The temporary replacement later became permanent and Streatch became a part of the monster truck family," as one regional reporter put it after watching her compete at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds. Her growth from fill-in to full-time driver is a testament to what happens when passion meets opportunity.

Anne's own words on her first show, the moment she knew this was her path, and what the Muddy Girl truck means to her โ€” coming soon from the driver.

Muddy Girl has one of the most distinctive identities in independent monster truck racing โ€” a pink-and-camo color scheme that draws fans of all ages, built on a chassis with roots going back to 1996.

1996 โ€“ 2013
Eradicator โ€” The Predecessor
The original Dodge Dakota chassis debuted as Eradicator under Andy Slifko in 1996. Paul Breaud purchased it and had his daughter Maddie drive it from 2015. The truck featured one of the few pink chassis in the sport.
2016 โ€“ 2018
Muddy Girl Camouflage โ€” Maddie Breaud
Eradicator converted into Muddy Girl Camouflage, sponsored by Moonshine Camo. Maddie Breaud drives. Competes in Monster Jam Arena Championship Series 4 (2017), finishing 7th in standings. Sponsorship expires, truck rebranded simply as Muddy Girl.

Anne competes as part of Xtreme Monster Sports Inc., the Pennsylvania-based operation founded and run by Paul Breaud. The team fields multiple trucks across the independent circuit โ€” Muddy Girl, Backdraft, and Instigator โ€” with Paul overseeing operations, driving, and truck maintenance for the entire roster.

Married to Paul, Anne is both a driver and a key part of the team's daily operations โ€” helping move, prep, and maintain the trucks that make every show possible. As she has said herself, the two hours of competition are only part of the story.
